Destination
Faron
Faron is Hyrule at its most overgrown — thick jungle greenery, waterfalls, and a coastline that turns into an actual fishing village if you follow it far enough. It's humid, it's lush, and it grows things nowhere else in the kingdom bothers with. My favourite region to restock in, if I'm honest.

Before you pack
Read these before you take the pack.
- Conditions
- Warm and wet, close to tropical by Hyrule standards. Rain is frequent and doesn't linger long enough to be a real obstacle, just enough to keep everything green. Light clothing, and don't bother trying to stay dry.
- Hazards
- The jungle hides more monster camps than the open regions do, simply because there's more cover to hide them in. There's also a certain clan of masked bandits who've made a habit of impersonating harmless travellers along the deeper valley roads — if a stranger's banana cart seems too convenient, it probably is.
- Useful finds
- This is where the good tropical fruit comes from — bananas, mighty bananas, voltfruit, more variety than anywhere else I forage. The coastal village further south sells fish I can't get fresh anywhere inland.

The longer notes, settlements, and shrines. When you know what to carry, shop the shelves or look it up in the Field Manual.
Route notes
Follow the river valleys rather than cutting through the densest greenery — slower, but you'll actually arrive with your supplies intact. The coast road to the fishing village is easy walking once you're through the jungle proper.
Merchant story
I've been offered 'cheap' bananas by a few too many suspiciously cheerful strangers out here to ever buy from anyone I haven't met twice. Pip thinks this is the funniest possible thing to watch me get suspicious about and now narrates it every single time.
